Assembly requires cookies to securely sign you in. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced and turn off “Block All Cookies.” Then fully close Safari, reopen it, and reload this page.
I disassembled new m42 in preparation for light rebuild. Head looks great. Cylinders are also in great condition. I think a light dingleberry hone, new rings and bearings and bunch of new gaskets and it will be ready for some punishment.
I used muriatic acid and ospho to clean some of the engine block rust. I will spray it with couple coats of epoxy.

Ospho and dingleball hones—similar themes in both of our garages right now.
