Assembly requires cookies to securely sign you in. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced and turn off “Block All Cookies.” Then fully close Safari, reopen it, and reload this page.
3 or 4 coats of epoxy later. I love SPI epoxy primers. I used it on engine bay, subframes, suspension and now engine block. My welding table frame is also sprayed with SPI. It lays nice and smooth.

Did you spray with an HVLP gun? Any top coat or is the primer good alone?

Yes small hvlp. I used smaller detail gun with 1.0 tip. SPI says it doesnt have to be top coated when used in the engine bays, underbody etc. It should be fine if not exposed to UV.
