Fall drive in the Driftless Area
Last weekend I took the Mini out for a drive weaving through some of the best driving roads in Wisconsin.
I was a little cautious, thinking the car might protest, but it was unexpectedly competent, and a lot of fun overall.
In retrospect, it makes sense. 2800lbs, short wheelbase and overhangs, and a solid platform ripped straight out of BMW.
I continue to be pleasantly surprised by this car as a daily. It has effectively been promoted from backup car to primary car over the X3.
