Anyone know a good place to mount a extra temp sensor on a Bmw M54B25 from a e39?
Stock 4 pin M54 sensor is needed for the stock ecu and i need to install the volvo temp sensor for the gauge cluster.

Can you drill and tap an aftermarket aluminum thermostat housing for the extra sensor? (or weld a bung on if needed)


I have considerd it, but i have heard both good and bad things about them. Maybe the best would be a real modified m50 thermostat housing.

