Rear Axle Refresh
On a mission to get this thing driving right and getting rid of shakes at high speeds. The plan is to do a refresh of the rear axle by replacing the pinion and carrier bearings, seals, and the yoke. While I’m taking things apart, I maybe clean up and paint the differential.

Plan
Decisions & Unknowns
What I need to figure out:
•
Are pinion and carrier reusable? Need to get through some disassembly before determination is possible
•
Should I replace the rear brake lines while I’m doing this?
•
With the axle out of the way, this seems like a good time to drop the gas tank, replace the sending unit, and replace some of the fuel lines
•
With the axle out of the way, this seems like a good time to drop the trailer hitch and refurbish it
