After 40 plus years bought another 2002. Bought it in North Carolina on 05/15/2026. Drove it back home to Perry, Georgia about 7 1/2 hour drive. She ran beautifully. Had a very hard brake pedal. Original 4 speed isn't so good for the freeway. Running at 65 MPH the tach registered around 3500 RPM. I pushed up to 70 a few times and that was 3700 RPM. Needs a 5 speed. But other than that it was a good drive. Car had many things on it I wanted (except the 5 speed). It has the dual Weber 40 DCOE carbs, front and back strut braces, lowering springs, battery relocated to trunk, electric fuel pump, nice Alpina valve cover and steering wheel, fender flares and later Recaro bucket seats and a half roll cage. Overall a good solid car with almost no rust anywhere on the body and just normal underneath. So now onto making it look like I want it too. The fun begins.
