Choose the final Ford 9-inch housing, axle ends, spline count, and brake arrangement.

Decide final rear ratio near 3.00 and confirm compatibility with the 8HP75.
•
Resolve anti-squat geometry, upper-link clearance, exhaust clearance, and ride height.
•
Choose a 15-inch wheel and likely 235/60R15 drag-radial package.
Tasks

Inspect the current Volvo axle’s pinion spacer and condition.

Finish testing the temporary 245/45R17 NT555RII setup and 250/150 lb/in spring rates.
•
Acquire and install the rear axle, brakes, wheels, and tires.

Verify alignment, braking stability, traction control, and high-speed braking.
