Decisions & Unknowns
A failed head gasket and head damage required a replacement head. Later piston and ring damage led to a replacement block with forged rods and Wiseco pistons. The engine bay was repainted Volvo 477 Electric Silver Metallic while the engine was out.
Tasks

Remove the damaged head, inspect the bottom end and prepare the replacement head.

Build the replacement short block with forged H-beam rods and Wiseco pistons.

Strip, refinish and clearcoat the engine bay in Volvo 477 Electric Silver Metallic.

Reassemble the engine and complete the first drive.
