Assembly requires cookies to securely sign you in. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced and turn off “Block All Cookies.” Then fully close Safari, reopen it, and reload this page.
The car still sits engineless, and the transmission remains out in LA while the driveshaft gets finished up (shoutout to Alex!), but I feel compelled to add a photo of the car with the new paint.
I did a lot cleaning up in the tunnel area last year, and now that fuel lines, gas tank, exhaust and driveline are all out, I’ll plan to do a similar treatment to the rest of the car. This is all aesthetic—there’s no rust or anything to take care of—but it seems like a wasted opportunity to not make it nice while everything is easily accessible.
