Assembly requires cookies to securely sign you in. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Apps → Safari → Advanced and turn off “Block All Cookies.” Then fully close Safari, reopen it, and reload this page.
Well, this is my first and last post for this car.
I bought this E36 from a friend years ago after longing for a simple fun car that I could just drive while constantly delving deep into projects on the Volvo.
The garage roster looks a lot different now, and this car finds itself in need of a bunch of work (beginning with an engine replacement). Another friend made an offer I couldn’t refuse to buy the car without me doing anything else to it, and it felt right to pass it along.
So, I packed up all of the many parts I had collected for it, swapped the 17” BBS RC out for the 18” LM reps it came on, and we loaded it up on a trailer.
Not saying this won’t be my last e36 (this is number 3 so far) but it feels good to have one less project around.
And the car is already well underway with a fresh engine build under the new owner (who is also an Assembly beta user!)
